MY 25 Random Things

MY 25 Random Things Rules for Facebook: Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you.

MY 25 Random Things
1) My newest obsession is scrapbooking--love buying loads of paper, embellishments & inks.
2) I got my BA in English/Creative Writing. Started a novel 12 years ago but have never gone beyond the same damn 4 chapters! ummm... think it's time to start writing again & finally finish the damn thing??!
3) I suck at writing poetry
4) I love Hip Hop. Old School. Progressive. Can not get with Gangsta Rap.
5) I love socks. Comfy socks makes me happy! The fuzzier, the better. Whenever I receive socks for Christmas, they're automatically my favorite gift!
6) I love to dance. House music all night long. Salsa. Merengue. Reggae. Dancehall.
7) I used to promote & throw parties at bars, lounges & clubs in NYC, JC & Hoboken.
8) ME time is my commute to/from work. I change radio stations often, going from hip hopR&B to rock stations to easy listening in mere seconds flat.
9) I didn't bother to make a resolution this year.
10) Love that my husband has taken up the ukelele. He plays it while I surf the net... OK facebook.
11) I am beginning to struggle with getting older. My step-son, AJ, aka Son #1, just turned 18 a few weeks ago & is graduating high school this year!
12) Having a baby & moving away from our family & friends 5 years ago to a place with no support system made me reprioritize my life.
13) Through the years, my cooking has gotten better & often find myself editing found recipes & add my own flair to it. Luckily, I almost always get it right the first time.
14) I loved my grammar & high school years. Best years of my life, next to the life I'm living now.
15) I would NEVER EVER trade growing up in JERSEY CITY. I'm proud to tell people where I'm from.
16) I HATE wet socks.
17) I am absolutely disgusted & horrified when I touch chewed up gum under desks, on banisters, underneath restaurant counters... I'm crawling in my skin right now thinking about it.
18) I am dying to get new closet organizing sytems for all of the closets in the house.
19) I'm still pissed off at the JC Filipino politician who registered me to vote at the bowling alley shortly after turning 18... he signed me up as a Republican even after telling him I was registering as a Democrat... now is that someone you really want in office? Dare I give up the name?? I remember that smarmy man clearly...
20) I cry at commercials, tv shows, movies, you name it, at the drop of a hat.
21) I may look young & innocent (relatively) but I grew up in the Dirty Jerz w/ street smarts... DON'T PISS ME OFF
22) I can watch the Cricuit Expression informercial over & over again. I dream of having one but shelling out "12 Easy Payments of just $39.99" doesn't make the overall sticker shock any easier!
23) I love watching HGTV
24) I love my TFC (The Filipino Channel)
25) My husband & I are considering retiring in the PI, Guam or Hawaii one day soon... he's eligible for retirement in roughly 15 years!
