How did you meet your significant other? Answer all the questions HONESTLY and repost as " How I met _____"

1. Where did you meet? at a St. Peter's College party in Jersey City, NJ back in the day, October 1986!

2. What was the first thought that went through your head when you met? he's really cute but WOW... those eyebrows are pretty thick...

3. Do you remember what he/she was wearing?i remember it being pretty cold that night & he had on his trench coat w/ all the pins from The Village in NYC (Flip, Antique Boutique, Canal Jean Co.) & red plaid scarf (remember trench coats & pins were the thing back then?)

4. Where did you first kiss this person? in the car after a party back in '87 on the way to White Castle... LOL

5. How did he/she ask you out? we were friends for some time first & talked on the phone a lot... he broke up w/ the girl he was dating for a while then we just happened...

6. Where did you go for your first date? we went to his house & i had dinner w/ his family... then we watched TV... his mom made him drive me home by 11:00 after driving her to work that night... i was only 15 then & he just turned 17... he had his license but he hated to drive so we went on a lot of double dates w/ other ppl who drove

7. How long did you know this person before you became a couple? bout 3 months?

8. Has this person ever proposed to you? technically, no... we just started talking about getting married then just ended up tying the knot somehow, romantic, no??

9. Do you and this person have kids together? Yes - AJ & Julian

10. Have you ever broken the law with this person? No -- he is an upstanding citizen coz he IS the law... and i have no choice but to comply and keep myself clean if we're to have a happy marriage & he keep his career

11. When was the first time you realized that you liked this person? after talking on the phone for some time, he sent a little hello note to me via one of my high school classmates who he regularly hung out w/ at the tennis courts where he spent most of his time back then... it was a sweet gesture

12. Do you get along with his/her family? Absolutely -- and he gets along with mine!

13. Do you trust this person? To death!

14. Do you see your partner in your future? To death! lol

15. What is the most expensive thing this person has given you? HIS LOVE... and my engagement ring--the stone was from his great-grandmother's ring, which he had reset... our children... my MINI VAN.... our houses!

16. What is one thing he/she does that gets on your nerves? he leaves the lights on throughout the house

17. What is the thing you do that gets on his/her nervs? what don't i do that gets on his nerves?? i take a while to get ready... the spare room/my closet is always a mess... i can think of one thing that really gets on his nerves but that would be TMI

18. Where do you see each other in 15 years from now? maybe he'll be retired from the police force & working as a Spanish translator for the goverment, hear they have good benefits
OR
we can move to either Hawaii or the Philippines. PI being more likely since it's less expensive to live there, even if we flew back several times a year
